She can sail harder than you can! Done several things that would have tipped over a lesser boat! She can sail shallow waters in the tropics or bounce off rocks locally with her shoal keel. She’s always been sailed with a big-belly mainsail. The boom is an incredible 19 feet long! Roller furling jib operates from the cockpit.
She can weather the worst of storms because she’s literally built like a tank.
Batten down the hatches, huddle up inside and you’ll still be afloat in the morning!
She can fly like the wind, with low drag and fine racing lines. Averaging 250 mi per day to/from Hawaii. The rigging is so sturdy you’ll never see slack in any shroud!
She needs lots of cosmetic upgrades, and the engine could be used temporarily, but is an ideal candidate for an EV upgrade and there’s so many options these days.
The current sails are ready for an upgrade.
All structural components (hull, mast, rigging, bulkheads, cabin sole, stringers) are in serviceable condition.
If refit, she can serve the owner as a safe, fast, reliable, globe trotting, eye catching sailing vessel for many years to come. Everyone asks what it is, buy it and you’ll be able to tell them as you fly by!
Again, all reasonable offers will be considered! This is a lot of boat for a tiny price, so someone’s going to get an amazing deal!
